Turning It Around
Everyone has faced challenges over the past few years, but as the economy rebounds, look to the future!
“Sometimes adversity is what you need to face in order to become successful” — Zig Ziglar
There have been numerous challenges confronting entrepreneurs and businesses over the past 8 to 12 quarters. Not the least, the COVID pandemic and its impact on not just daily business operations, but daily life for society in general. Related, but in some cases a precursor issue that businesses were facing, has been the disruptions to the supply chain. Then there was the tight supply of labor, often making it difficult to fill needed positions within an organization.
All of this has contributed to businesses facing dire outlooks on their sustainability. Complicating matters is that many of the scenarios that developed over the course of the past three years were unique to many businesses, they had never experienced the likes of these combining forces prior. This may have resulted in hesitancy to make crucial or difficult personnel decisions, reducing headcount. Perhaps the business relied upon suppliers or vendor partners that were struggling, and without alternative options faced even further disruptions to their revenue stream.
Unfortunately, by the time the dust had settled and there was a glimmer of hope that some sense of "new normalcy" might be on the horizon, it may have been too late. Many businesses closed and disappeared. The fortunate (or the closest approximation to "least unfortunate”) operators may have been able to find buyers for their business, although the businesses were often sold for much less than what the value of the enterprise might have been prior to the pandemic. Still others have retained their business, often scaled back or reconfigured, but hope to re-acquire the glory of their original success.
If you're rebuilding your business, like a phoenix from the ashes, having survived the last two years and ready to encounter the "new normal" or if you've acquired a business and hope to restore it to a newly branded entity reflecting your entrepreneurial philosophy and mission, Silver Fox Consultancy can provide the counsel and initiatives that will re-energize the enterprise and fast-track the climb to success.
